What awards or certifications has Renewal by Andersen received?

We were the first window manufacturer to receive a Green Seal certification for Environmental Stewardship and are the only window company to have a Scientific Certification System (SCS) Indoor Advantage Gold™ certification for indoor air emissions. Renewal by Andersen was also recognized as an ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year for Sustained Excellence in 2019, and select windows have been rated Most Efficient of ENERGY STAR® in 2020.

What is Low-E/Low-E4® glass and how is it energy-efficient?

Low-E/Low-E4® glass is our standard glass offering. Low-E stands for low-emissive, and it reflects heat in the summer and keeps heat inside in the winter. The glass is coated with a virtually clear material to reduce ultraviolet ray transmission, allowing your windows to be more thermally efficient, eliminate glares and prevent the damaging effects of UV rays on your furniture. 

How much energy does Low-E4® SmartSun™ glass save?

Compared to ordinary dual-pane glass, our SmartSun™ glass is 70% more energy efficient in the summer and 47% more energy efficient in the winter.

How do energy-efficient windows help save money?

Our ENERGY STAR® certified windows will allow you to use less energy to cool and heat your home, which will lower the cost of your energy bills by up to 25%. 

What makes Renewal by Andersen windows good for the environment?
