By providing energy-efficient replacement windows, Renewal by Andersen is helping reduce the impact of greenhouse gases and other pollutants produced by inefficient products. But have you wondered what exactly it means when we say that our windows are ENERGY STAR® certified?

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), there are specific energy efficiency requirements that products must meet to become ENERGY STAR® certified. For example, the product should contribute to nationwide energy savings, and customers should be able to get a return on investment through their monthly utility costs as compared to less-efficient options. For windows specifically, they should be able to significantly reduce a homeowner’s energy costs within a reasonable amount of time.

In addition to our ENERGY STAR® certification, Renewal by Andersen was also the first window manufacturer to receive Green Seal Certification for Environmental Stewardship. Learn more about our commitment to environmental and energy solutions here.
